Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly known as RCIA)

To learn more about the Catholic Faith, or become Catholic, you can register for OCIA classes by contacting Jennifer Colsch at jcolsch@stjohnbchurch.org
Requirements and Schedule:
If you have not been baptized:
· Classes will be on most Sundays from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, August 25, 2024 through May 4th, 2025 in the parish hall
· Mass attendance is required
· There will be required reading and homework throughout the year
If you have been baptized in a different Christian Denomination, or have been baptized Catholic but have not received all the Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and/or Confirmation):
· Classes will be on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm in the parish hall. You can choose one of the following sessions:
Session 1 will be from August 29, 2024 to December 22, 2024, or
Session 2 will be from January 30, 2025 to May 18, 2025
· Mass attendance is required
· There will be required reading and homework
· You will need to provide a baptismal certificate or other proof of baptism
